Dear Finance Awards Wales Family

This year has been like no other and hearing the stories of how ones have been fighting Covid-19 both personally and professionally has been truly humbling.

Earlier this year we updated you that while nominations for the 2020 Finance Awards Wales event were welcomed, the event itself would be rescheduled. Having completed an inspiring judging season, the judges and sponsors have unanimously decided that it’s only right that we don’t let the pandemic stand in the way of our being able to recognise the contribution of all those shortlisted in this last year. Rather than host the event virtually, we are keen to make sure our 2021 event recognises the contribution of those shortlisted during both 2020 and 2021.

In true Finance Awards Wales style, we are sure the event will be worth the wait. And so please mark 3 September 2021 in your diaries, when Finance Awards Wales will return and we are able to celebrate together and shine the spotlight firmly on the people who make up the talented finance sector in Wales.

Nominations will open from January 2021 and in a year when finance professionals have played a crucial role in the success - and in some cases survival - of many organisations across a variety of industries and sectors, we await your entries. Finally, on behalf of Finance Awards Wales, we wish you a safe and restful end to your 2020 and every continued success in the months ahead.

What people are saying

The talented finance sector we have nurtured here in Wales is a vital part of our thriving national economy. Finance Awards Wales has shone a light on the excellence of professionals working in the field, from experienced directors and chief financial officers to gifted apprentices and graduates. I look forward to celebrating their successes again in the third year of these important awards.
